A special night of songwriters from Scotland will be taking place at Mugdock Theatre on 10th May. This show will be a songwriters in the round format, with all performers on stage at the one time, taking it in turn to sing and play their craft. We have a variety of styles from Paul Tasker, Larry Guild, Stephen Maguire and myself, all presenting our own take on the craft of songwriting. Whatever happens on the night , it will be a soulful, country tinged, blues and folk evening in the fantastic springtime setting of Mugdock Park, near Milngavie. Emerging from the rubble and dust are inspiring examples of kiwi ingenuity - pop up coffee and entertainment areas, the re start shopping mall made from metal containers has created focus and character in one of the worst affected zones, and close to all my old haunts.
The Ohura gig has been upgraded to a concert venue, when I get details I'll post here.

"This second volume adds some funk, soul and folk blues to the melting pot. We believe this album incorporates the wider spectrum of the genre. The artists contributing to this album are all based in the modern multicultural Scotland. We hope this album will provide them all with greater exposure and encourage you to explore their music further."
